HUST Alumni Association of Southern California is offically founded on April 6th, 2002. It is the 18th offically-founded alumni association branch of HUST. Over 120 people, including HUSTers and their families, from former HuaGong, TongJi, and ChengJian had a wonderful gathering at Heritage Park of Irvine on that day when four HUST leaders were visiting Los Angeles. Six HUSTers were selected to form the Committee of HUST Alumni Assn of S Cal, in which Dr. Tianxiong Fu was elected as President, Dr. Ke-Qin Hu as Vice President, Mr. Chen Yu as General Secretary, Drs. Bo Fu, Yong Guo, and Chaoyang Li as members. Qiao-Bao newspaper has reported this gathering.
