Bioengineering alumnus suffers cancer, returns to Wuhan for treatment

I edited several emails forwarded from Linda Zhu (Bioenginerring 84)
so that the information is more readable. "It is sad and shocking for
us to hear Chen Fan has suffered from Liver cancer which has been transfered
to Lung and bone", as JIANG Hong wrote. CHEN Fan (Bioengineering 86)
and his wife, FENG Ling, are now in Wuhan for treatment.

I knew Chen Fan (class86) and Jiang Hong (class85)
many years ago at BE in HUST. However, I haven't had
direct contact with them since then. The messages I
forwarded to you were from other alumni of BE, HUST.
I'm justing doing the most I can to help.

今天上午,我与但但,汪亚平一起去探视了陈凡.
目前的基本情况是:他们回到武汉后在家呆了一天就进了医院,因为癌细胞已经转移,故
现在无法进行手术,在省肿瘤医院以中西医结合方式进行治疗.由于昨天吃的一种药(与
破骨细胞有关)很厉害,故今天讲话很艰难,说话会引起咳嗽.人很瘦很虚弱,但欣慰的是
情绪和精神很好,还和我们幽默道:"个*,回来时,享受了绿色通道和商务舱的待遇,全程
躺着回来".叮嘱兄弟们都要多多保重身体.
从冯玲介绍的情况看,他的病发展到今天,完全是因为在外面耽误的,几个月前就开始咳
嗽,可是那边的医生一直拖着,真他妈让人气愤!
现在在病房是24小时需要有人看护,白天基本是冯玲,和陈凡的家人,晚上请了个看护,还
不错.他的病房里有电话:86-27-87292516,可以通过此电话与他联系.
我准备待他方便讲话后再去看他.
昨天闻知此不幸后非常震惊与难受,今天看的情绪精神还好,我心情也有所好转.
