[Houston]Camping and annual meeting change due to severe weather

Dear members,
The weather forecast changed from 70/50 a few days ago to today's low of 34 in the area of camping. We already had 4 families there last night (Friday) enjoying the beautiful flowers and the lake. However, as the Canadian cold front keeping moving south, they can already feel the power of the polar cold air, and are wondering if they can withstand the near freeze temperature all day long and overnight.
As a result of the severe weather, the alumni association decided to cancel the annual meeting on Sunday for the safety of our members. But camping is upon individual decision (some people may enjoy the challenge).
If you do decide to continue camping, you may use the reservation made by HUSTAA for free (you do not need to pay). However, we suggest that you bring enough clothing and make your best judgement on site.
For all of our alumni members, and especially those who have small children, I suggest a free play "Cinderella" at Miller outdoor Theater in Hermann Park. It will be on tonight and also April 12-14 starting at 8pm. We went there last night and it was really wonderful!
