After TJMCOAA played a central role in serving all of the overseas alumni, the TJMU77-1 web site shifted its focus to only our group. However, there are two big upcoming events that we would like to bring to your attention.

1. Dr. Wang Xiaohong tragically left us a year ago on July 24, 2004, and it has been almost a year since the Celebration of the Lives of Xiaohong Wang & Jim Wang on August 16th, 2004. Although it was a hectic time last year, we all made new friends. We still very much appreciate your support and kindly contribution to this event. However, how are Xiaolan and her son doing now? It is our sincere hope that you all send her warm e-mails in the name of Tongji showing the same support you did a year ago (you might have done it already). All of the information on the Celebration of the Lives of Xiaohong Wang & Jim Wang is still on our website at:

Dear TJMC alumni,

One of our beloved alumni, Wang Xiaohong, tragically left us a year

deeds and his effort to unite us and to build the big alumnus family.
This is a difficult time for Xiaolan and John again. Let us wish them
strong and well. We share with them their loss and sorrow. Let us

2. You might have heard about the big organizational change recently in TJMC. A new leadership delegation has been invited by the TJMCOAA. They will come to the United States at the end of July to meet with TJMC alumni to discuss the development of TJMC and to hire leading research personnel. They are:
